We our proud of our neighbors
and the way they selflessly help one another.
This is
the heartland of America. The need for awareness to the rest of our
country is imperative for the long term recovery.
As much as we are
helping each other, we know that our fellow countrymen would want
the opportunity to help their own if they can.
When your neighbor has
lost everything and you have rescued him from his rooftop but you
have also lost your home and livelihood,
sooner or later you will both
need a smiling face and a helping hand.
I think most Americans would
be proud and willing to help those who ARE helping themselves.

An organization
formed to help raise money for the victims
after the deadly
tornados in April of 1998 , will be at our tent
taking donations
to give to the Red Cross for the flood relief efforts.
We
had a great time at the 2009
Nashville
Songwriters Festival on Music Row!
We had a blast in October at the
Loretta
Lynn Ranch!
At the fests we had a tent for people
who
were looking for someone to co-write with.
Some
of us looked for the right person to put music to our lyrics.
Others
looked for the perfect words to go with our melodies.
Co-writers'
Corner actually helped some of us find each other!
We
had coffee, tea, live readings,
instrumentals
and networking with some really great Fest Heads!
Some
very special friends joined us and we had a GREAT time! .
We
had so much fun we just can't wait til the next fest!
We
are going to do it again at the
Top of Music Row
June 4-6
There
will be more of the same fun and then some!!!!!!!
